Another adventure with Wild Chrystal
: Just like to show you a problem my Wild Chrystal (executive) suffered from last week from when I left the car out over night in a heavy rain storm.
: A few days later I thought I should check the car to see if I had any water inside the car. The foot well had a lake so out with sponge and after a while removed about a litre or more
: I ended up removing the carpet, under felt, the tar sound proofing and then additional tar layer on the metal surface with a heat gun showing the surface run , pin hole and a screw in the middle where the gas installation guy had placed a self tapper screw.
: I have treated the area, located the holes in the firewall and other places.
: Fill them with a tar base paint.
: Now looks like I have to do the drivers side and order new under-felt and carpet one day.
